Hi! Welcome to our blog – hopefully you can find something helpful on here to make the most of your trips.
We started this because in November 2023, after a hectic couple of years, we decided to take a career break to travel around South East Asia for six months.
We’re UK based and aside from this longer trip we also spend our time travelling near and far as often as possible. Sometimes we have the time to travel slowly and soak in a single place for a while, other times it’s a shorter weekend break or roadtrip in a country to see as much as we can in the time we have.
We know very well that no matter how prepared you might be, when you’re living your best life somewhere far from home, things aren’t always as perfect as you pictured them. We’re both massive planners and organisers so we wanted to share our research on itineraries, travel tips, and recommendations with the added benefit that all of our planning has been rigorously stress-tested by us, in real life!
You won’t find many recommendations for tours or package trips because those are the things we enjoy putting together ourselves and sharing our experiences and tips for you to use.
